Experience

Stefan Altenschmidt has been a principal associate since November 2006 and works in our Duesseldorf office. He is a member of our dispute resolution practice group and specialises in environment, planning and regulatory (EPR).

Stefan was born in Essen in 1971. He completed his legal education at the University of Bochum. Stefan holds a doctor of laws degree (Dr iur) from the University of Bochum and a master of laws degree (LLM) in environmental, planning and regulatory law from Nottingham Law School. In 2002 he worked as a legal trainee at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.

Stefan joined the firm in 2003. He speaks German and English.
