Experience

Fares is head of the corporate team in Saudi Arabia and speaks fluent English and Arabic. His main practice areas are M&A, corporate and finance, with a particular emphasis on capital markets regulations, corporate restructuring, investment funds, IPOs and securities issues.

Fares is dual qualified to practise in both Saudi Arabia and England and Wales. He also completed a secondment working with the Saudi Capital Market Authority’s legal department advising on a large number of transactions recently brought before the Saudi regulator in relation to the listing and approval of IPOs on the Saudi stock market and the licensing and setting up of brokerage firms in the Kingdom.
