About
Tochukwu is part of our IP and Technology group. He is active in the tech sector, and specialises in data privacy and cyber security, cross-border IP and commercial matters.
He advises on transactions involving brands, technology, and on the full range of legal issues relating to data. This requires him to provide advice on data privacy matters on a standalone basis and in the context of global M&A transactions, cyber security breaches and any resulting litigation. During his time at Freshfields, Tochukwu has spent six months on secondment to the in-house legal team at the London Stock Exchange Group in London, and has spent six months on secondment to the in-house legal team at Palantir Technologies.

- Advising large companies in relation to their data breach, including engaging with the UK ICO and advising on litigation strategy.
