Victor Garcia Lopez
About
Victor is a senior consultant in our EU regulatory and public affairs practice, based in the Brussels office.
He joined the Freshfields team in 2019, prior to which he worked in the European Parliament and in an in-house public affairs team in Madrid.
Victor speaks English, French and Spanish, and provides strategic advice to clients on the financial services and digital sectors.
As part of his most recent work, Victor has devised and implemented EU outreach programmes and profile-raising strategies for clients with an interest on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), payments and digital finance.
Victor has an extensive experience on monitoring and analysing EU legislative developments for clients and contributing to legal mandates in relation to intellectual property, semiconductors and transparency issues.
