Member of our data and technology practice group, John advises on all legal matters relating to data, AI and other new technologies.

He assists clients on data protection, AI regulation, and the governance of data spaces. As a specialist in data law, John navigates organisations in designing and implementing compliance projects, especially regarding the EU digital strategy to meet European legal standards. He handles a broad range of issues, from general compliance to risk assessments, data transfers, and data litigation.

John’s understanding of sector-specific regulations enables him to offer targeted advice, in particular in the rapidly evolving European data space frameworks for the health, finance, and automobile sector.

He also contributes to global M&A transactions, with a focus on IT/IP law, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance.

John speaks German and English.
