Felix is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution Group in the area of compliance, corporate governance, and investigations.
He is also a trained and certified compliance officer (University of Augsburg).
A particular focus of his consulting work is on internal, cross-border investigations where he also advises companies on the associated regulatory proceedings, potential follow-on litigation and crisis management.
Another are of expertise is preventive compliance advise. He regularly advises clients in setting up compliance management systems and revising existing compliance processes. In addition, he supports clients on reviewing the compliance organization of other companies in the context of M&A transactions (both sell-side and buy-side).
Felix speaks German, English, Italian and French.
- Conducting a highly complex cross-border investigation for a global industrial client on behalf of the supervisory board into allegations of potential non-compliance with regulatory requirements for various industrials products and representing the client vis-á-vis regulators and other authorities in various countries.
- Providing comprehensive compliance and investigations advice as well as overall strategic guidance for a multinational accounting firm in connection with the insolvency of a German DAX-listed company.
- Conducting a compliance due diligence for a German automotive supplier in relation to a major transaction.
- Advising a large German non-profit organisation with a multi-level participation structure in improving and revising its compliance processes and overall compliance framework.
- Regular compliance advice for international corporations, e.g., with regard to ABC or AML compliance.
- Representing a private equity firm in DIS arbitration proceedings regarding a post M&A dispute focusing on potential payment obligations in connection with earn-out clauses.
- Advising Europe’s largest automobile manufacturer in relation to the diesel emissions issue.
