Reena Parmar is Counsel within the Global transactions practice, specialising in debt capital market transactions.
Reena's role includes analysing law and regulation and ensuring that the firm is at the forefront of developments in debt capital market law and practice. She has broad experience of investment grade debt capital market transactions across a range of products and has worked with a variety of issuer-side and underwriter-side clients. Reena is active in various industry associations and is widely recognised for her technical expertise and pragmatic approach.
Reena is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion and has given a number of talks covering themes such as intersectional identities, disability, neurodiversity, mental health, social mobility, race and ethnicity, cultural identity and gender equity. She is the appointed chair of the Law Society of England & Wales Disabled Solicitors Network. Reena is a founding member and former co-chair of Freshfields Enabled UK, the Freshfields' disability employee network. She has collaborated with others to establish an internal neurodiversity working group, to help raise awareness of neurodiversity and to support neurodivergent colleagues to thrive. Reena is also a senior business services mentor, and a trained Mental Health First Aider.
