As an associate in our data and technology practice, Johanna advises national and international companies on all questions relating to new technologies, data, IT and IP.

Johanna focuses on setting up and rolling out technology- and data-driven projects, as well as on negotiating all types of agreements in the digital context. Her expertise also includes advising on data protection, platform regulation as well as on all questions regarding copyright and media law.

Prior to joining Freshfields, Johanna worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law (University of Münster) focusing on information, copyright and data protection law. In her doctoral thesis, she dealt with legal issues of Web 3.0, particularly the tokenization of digital assets.
