About
Martin is a member of the Global Transactions group in Austria.
He advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of general corporate law and focuses his practice on complex cross-border M&A transactions. Prior to joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Martin practiced M&A and corporate law as an associate at another leading international law firm in Austria. Martin passed the Austrian bar exam in April 2021.
He is fluent in German and English and has a basic knowledge of Dutch.

- Advising Nippon Express on the EUR 1.4bn acquisition of Cargo-Partner group, consisting of more than 60 target companies around the world.
- Advising Audi, Aptiv and Infineon on the $625m sale of TTTech Auto AG to Dutch NXP B.V. (as lead sell-side transaction counsel).
- Advising Emerson Electric on the acquisition of FLEXIM Flexible Industriemesstechnik.
- Advising AEA Investors on the acquisition of a majority stake in SCIO Automation.
- Advising Porsche Holding, the leading global car wholesale and retail company and member of Volkswagen group, on various M&A transactions.
- Advising Mondi Group on several sell and buyside M&A transactions.
