Ashmita is Counsel in our Dispute Resolution department in London.

Ashmita is responsible for developing knowledge products for the firm’s clients and lawyers and analysing and responding to legal and market developments. She is also responsible for training and business development for the commercial disputes group in London, the Global Class and Collective Actions Skills Group, the Global Antitrust Litigation Group and the Global Consumer Skills Group.

Prior to converting to become a solicitor, Ashmita was a member of Middle Temple training at Fountain Court and Keating Chambers. She practised as a construction and engineering lawyer acting on behalf of funders, developers, consultants and contractors. She has also been an in-house lawyer at a leading engineering firm in London. She has advised on transactions as well as assisting clients with dispute resolution procedures. Ashmita advises clients on disputes aspects of transactions and sanctions.
