In the wake of the recent financial crisis, European state aid rules have adapted quickly to deal with the many financial rescues by national governments. We continue to play a leading role in advising financial institutions, central banks and governments on these complex developments, most notably on key mandates that have set new legal precedents in the UK and Germany.
